They need them when they’re on dry land as they don’t have legs.
Anyone in Germany looking for a well-designed media rack/lowboard, I can very much recommend the model „Scaena“ by Roterring!
Very high quality, open in the back for better air circulation, optional acoustic textile front, just what I was looking for!
Are they bass speakers in the rear corners?
Nope, but bass traps ![]()
DIY or custom made or from a store?
Ah, thanks
I’m planning to build some Lyngdorf W410 style bass speakers next month (I already use the W210s) and I wondered if they were something similar
They are from Perfect Acoustic in Hungary, this model:
I’ll have a look. Thank you
Congrats! Love it, have had one for many years and not felt compelled to change.

I thought you might enjoy something a bit different. I have two roon cores, one is at home, but the other is in my recording studio.
I run a Ropieee into one of the studio inputs - so that in normal circumstances using roon doesn’t affect the studio interfaces / clocks etc.
I can of course switch on the Mac as an endpoint for critical listening when needed.
Core is in the lobby.
Did you see the YouTube that Cohearent Records put out?
I didn’t - could you post a link?
Very interesting stuff, even to a layman who didn’t understand most of it. ![]()

BTW - I had pre-ordered, from AcousticSounds, the LP that the video talks about even before then… Now, I see some fish on Discogs just paid $160 for a copy.
Sorry, I posted the InGroove vid. Here’s the one from Kevin Gray (that I didn’t understand most of).
Great fun - thanks. A real labour of love!
Technics SB700 coaxials, 2 JBL LSR310s powered subs, Buckeye NC252 amp,. RME ADI-2FS DAC/Preamp. Roon Core on dedicated Lenovo T470s i7. Technics-Pluto phono output passes through WiiM mini for A-D conversion.
lovely… I was really looking hard at the device over the DAC. looking like a strange remote with a big volume knob… The ADI-2FS booklet, I really need

In case a tornado blows through the house the weight will keep the manual in place. There needs to be a Cliff Notes version. I keep the Radio Shack DB meter next to the DAC for protection. I’ll throw it at anyone messing with my settings on the RME.
