Changed things up a bit…
Back to using a single NuPrime STA-9, a pair of Magnat Signature 503’s, and a single HSU STF-2 subwoofer, getting its high-level signal from the amp. Oh, and of course, my 3rd Pangea Vulcan rack that I bought years back. Everything else remains the same.
The racks (3 identical in this case) are the Chorus range from Esthetica. They are based in India but have some distributors so far. These are the solid Teak wood with Yellow Teak stain.
My system is very modest KEF R5 with ROTEL A14 MKII. I use a Mac mini m1 connected to a Panasonic OLED TV. I always love the combination of ROTEL with KEF.
Since my last Setup showcase exactly a year ago, much have changed and most of them are likely end gears.

Speaker and roon core remain. Essentially I build my setup around Heritage Special.
Roon core - wifi - Dlink switch with ifi power 2 - Aqua LinQ - Aqua xForumula - Pass Lab Int60 - Heritage Special. Cheers
Thanks! their product looks interesting. Definitely have a look and contact them. Cheers
Watch out for the oled burn in with it as a monitor for computer or roon

That looks a awesome setup.
Absolutely gorgeous audio racks!
Where did you get the dust cover for your Linn?
Apparently I’m a bit of a junkie…

need to see your equipment closet/home run…
Unfortunately, we moved into our home before I started my Integration company. All of the systems were retrofit. It’s been a lot of time in the attic for the media room system and master bedroom system.
There were only 6 Cat5 runs throughout the house when we moved in, so I’m running a hub & spoke network topology.

These are older pictures (AC Infinity intake and exhaust fans have been added), but this is temporarily running the basement and main floor (until the basement gets finished with a dedicated theater):
Also running Control4, and Wireless Access Points throughout the house.
looks great, very clean and neat.
All very nicely done. I’m familiar with the retrofit issues, it is a ton of work.
Looks great.
Listening to these R11 Metas (9’ apart and 4’ pulled into the room) over some IsoAcoustic Gaias with two KF92 Subs (crossed at 45Hz - Preamp to sub with high pass from sub to Amp - All Mogami cables) + NAD M23 + Topping Pre90 + VMV D1SE + Zen Stream with the 15V Elite PSU + HQPlayer upsampling to Tidal/Qobuz streams (via Closed Form 16M and ASDM V2) and Roon (obviosly!) + EQ/Room Correction (up to 250Hz) via HouseCurve app on iPad with my preferred Target Curve…too much processing, I know but worth it.
All Bass Traps and Acoustic Panels hand made by myself. I do put a blanket over that large TV right against the wall when listening and I do feel it makes for better imaging. The grills are off when listening as well. The seat is at an Equilateral Triangle position when listening (shows on the side in the picture). Here is the setup and some curves/corrections I apply. Comments welcome
Topping E70 Velvet just arrived, and I replaced my S.M.S.L. SU-1 with it. The sound is so warm and detailed that it reminds me of my grandfather’s tube radio. Every song is perfect; the voices are warm and clear. So, with this setup (NUC, Topping E70 Velvet, iPad mini 6 + Sonos system), I got the sound quality I had been looking for, and now my journey is complete. Now, I will be buying CDs and enjoying music without any plans to upgrade the hardware in the foreseeable future.
Everything has changed since 2018 and still loving Roon!!!
and with the AFTERDARK. NETONE AUDIOPHILE SWITCH…
