The only way is up. I guess that is also the case with chairs.

I’m not generally a fan of leather upholstery, but i’ve always loved the Eames design.
Let’s hope you get many years of “lounging” in it.

My wife, after seeing it, wants me to put it in our family room in place of my 25 year old brown leather Lazy Boy recliner. Maybe I need to order another one :red_question_mark:

Yes. They look rather snazzy, as people round here would say.
Some repro’s on eBay over here selling for below £600. Quality or durability probably not guaranteed.

There are plenty of cheap ones available if that’s what you want.

I hate FedEx.

My experience hasn’t been great with them either.

Would you mind disclosing where your purchased it? I’ve been looking for a decent Eames reproduction but I aways find shortcomings. It looks great in your photos. I’m a proud owner of a vintage model which I had reupholstered and refinished years ago but one is enough. I wouldn’t mind having a replica for my other room.

Took me 53 minutes to assemble by myself. Really easy. Hardest part was getting the armrest screws (4) started because you can’t see the female embedded nuts. It all fit together perfectly. I’ll report on comfort in a few days.

@Jim_F I hope you’re still enjoying that Meridian Prime HA.

I’ve made countless changes since parting with that amp.
