If you look at peoples rooms , it seem Eames Chairs are very popular , they must come free with expensive DAC’s
I must admin in my minimalist room the Eames chair holds sway , we recently bought a 2 seater LaZBoy settee aimed at the big TV screen but the Eames is MINE, MINE ,MINE
They may be expensive but when you appreciate your system , think of it as a HI fI component
Back at the MIL’s, for a week this time. I just made this for free. It’s a stand for this horn that someone gave me recently. It belonged to our lead singer who died several years ago from Alzheimer’s due to exposure to agent orange. He didn’t play it in the band as he played a cornet. His widow is the person who gave me the “Jay Dees” posters and this horn.
Just had a 1 second power outage. My router, Netgear switch, Nucleus, and Mac Mini did not have a problem as all are connected by a battery backup surge protector. Upstairs in my listening room, my RPi4 and Meridian Prime shut down while the Denon did not. Of course, iPads stayed on with their internal battery power. So, to solve this, I ordered this for my listening room.
Something I had never thought of, and I don’t know why. I just ran the power cord for my other RPi4, which feeds my Mojo2 and Focal Clear headphones, through the wall from our family room to our main bedroom and plugged it into the UPC. I was able to use the same holes in the wall where two ethernet cables are fed through the wall.
That is a huge improvement for sure. With that connection you can do many things at the same time without worrying that music/video will start to buffer or drop.
