Daily Picks missing and slowing overall performance

Daily Picks is missing again and slowing down performance overall. If this is potentially always going to be an issue then there has to be an option to disable this Daily Picks section completely.

This feature causes my devices to pause every time. If I could turn it off for now, I would.

I also think it should snap to each selection, Instead of sitting in between 2 suggestions.

I think the daily picks service is down at the Roon end.

I’ve been having a very slow overall performance for couple days.

Same problem on my end. It’s been slow to load for a few days and is now missing completely. The “swimmer” loading icon is just constantly tried to load.

Same here since a couple of days

They are there for me and not slow. Everyone who has a problem should open a support case

Been happening to me also over the last two days. When the rest of it does load, the Daily Picks are missing.

I made a support issue as I’m seeing errors/timeouts from roon cloud services in the logs

Daily Mixes missing as well.

Something of a disaster at the moment. It may be a local/regional server issue. Any section on the home page relating to recommendations seems to be at risk of hanging and timing out.

I just wish Roon would respond to the oft-requested ability to simply select which home page sections to display. It can’t be that hard, and it would stop the home page hanging every time one returns to it and attempts to scroll past the troublesome sections.

Daily picks missing for second consecutive day. Sad sunday. It is a great idea for Roon music addicts.

I started having the problem yesterday afternoon. I launch Roon and the daily picks section took a lot longer than normal to appear.

I noticed it seemed to be Tidal / service related. I logged out of Tidal and restarted Roon (on my iPad) and the delay disappeared but obviously there was no Tidal related content.

I logged back in to Tidal and the application does a lengthy pause just before pulling up new albums and Roon playlists etc. it does eventually appear but it’s slow.

It’s not Tidal. I use Qobuz and am also suffering.

“Daily Picks” can take a while to appear but then at least it seems to be cached locally (server or remote). The same goes for the “New Releases” section.

There’s an interminable hang on the jellyfish after “Genres For You”, so it’s “Recommended Artists” that’s then the problem. It’s having to conjure up the full 50 artists behind the More button for some reason. (It would almost be quicker to go to Sonic Oracle…)

When/if it gets past that you’ll be lucky if “Playing the music of…” and “Collaborators” haven’t timed out.

“Recommended Artists”, “Playing the music of…” and “Collaborators” are evidently dynamic, so every revisit to the home page triggers the same wait and/or timeout at those sections.

Spoke too soon. The cache for that section is evidently pretty short-lived. Back to the jellyfish.

There seem to be other cloud performance issues as well

Indeed. Those sections on the artist pages are also appallingly sluggish.

The issue has now spread to me, too, and album pages are even slow to load the TiVo bio. And also artist overview and discography as well as Home page anything below daily picks

Just a question. I don’t come to the forums very much anymore in the last couple years, but I remember the Roon staff being on top of everything and now seem nowhere to be found. How can they let an issue like this go on for days? Not even acknowledging an issue, terrible support from what I remember being pretty great.

Thanks for raising.

Also experiencing issues with this.

iOS 26.6.1

Roon app v2.71.01683 (but as others have pointed seems like a backend issue).
