We are excited to announce a significant update to Roon OS, specifically targeting ROCK or Nucleus TITAN users. This release focuses on enhancing the HDMI port functionality and introducing support for Thunderbolt over USB-C.
The inability to playback audio through the HDMI port that some Nucleus TITAN users have encountered is now resolved. This also implements HDMI support for ROCK users on NUC 12 and NUC 13.
Additionally, this update includes a vital kernel upgrade. We encourage you to check your ROCK devices and provide feedback on any issues or regressions you may notice post-update. Your input is invaluable in helping us maintain and improve the system.
PLEASE NOTE: This applies to devices created using RoonOS 1.0 Build 254 or later. Devices originally installed prior to 11/09/2022 will not receive this update. This is nothing to be concerned about, as the update only applies to newer hardware enabled in Build 254.
