Hi, I plan to purchase Roon to use in a new PC build to use with HQP outputting to NAA. So, I have been reading up on the software. Multiple Album Covers Within Box Set

Is it possible to have multiple album covers within a box set? For example, I have the Beatles Mono box set. The entire set has the same album cover, even though all the different albums are contained within. It would be great to have the box with a the cover of the box set, then when clicking on each album within the set, each album has its own cover. Is this possible?

Is there a way to ungroup boxsets if you want to?

'Series' as well as box set improvements

There’s been a lot of talk regarding better handling of box sets. I’d just like to add ‘series’ to this theme as well. For example, there are many CDs that are released separately as a series though are not necessarily part of any boxed set. It would be good for Roon to allow the user to group these together as a series, in a simlar way to the box sets. Metadata for individual albums in boxed sets

It would be nice to see the metadata for individual albums that are now sold as boxed sets. I suppose this happens often with older albums, but look at Haitink’s recent Beethoven cycle. The CD’s were individually sold, and a few months later they appeared as a box.

Large box set issues

I realize there have been other discussions about specific box set issues–and I know some metadata/tagging fixes are ‘in the works’, with other higher priority items ahead of this, no doubt–but I just wanted to put in a plea for some enhanced ergonomic functionality for managing large box sets in the future. Box sets - best practice

I wanted to get some thoughts from other users on how to deal with box sets. I have a reasonably modest collection of CDs imported into Roon (about 800) but quite a few of these - maybe about half - are CDs from the classical music mega box sets that have been common (and amazingly inexpensive) over the last few years. Hi, I just got finished migrating my albums into Roon. For the most part the process was very smooth. One area that i’d like to see enhanced is the handling of box sets. After some fiddling, I was able to convert my Beatles Mono Box Set into Room, but I don’t like the way it lumps all of the albums together as a single multi-disc album. This makes sense for compilations, but for a boxed set I would rather have the albums individually identifiable in Room. Would would actually be really awe…
