To be precise, it is probably running on a woefully outdated version of Vortexbox Linux, which hasn’t been updated in 7 years. There is another ongoing thread about this device, where I provided all the information:

I'm having trouble connecting to Roon What type of connection issue? *None* of my remotes can connect When opening Roon remote on my desktop or phone, I'm asked to Login. I'm the redirected to the website "account.roon.app" where I choose my account, and it then redirects me to the app with the same choice (as before) between "Login" and "Start free trial". On March 6, 2024 Roon released version 2.0.30 which included build 1382 of Roon Server. In the day following the release our support team received reports of connectivity issues from a very small subset of the Roon user community.
