I have issues with Remote as well. Remote and the core can communicate but sometimes it takes 5 mins for the Remote to find the core after startup, and it looses connection frequently. Both apps are updated and it happens with two different phones.
never experienced any problem connecting or maintaining connections with Roon endpoints.
