I thought it was a dentist chair !!

Yes, but you have to get the toe-in just right…

That’s quite the networking diagram. The barber’s chair backstory is touching. My mum was a seamstress and when she passed away there was no way her sewing machines (production level) were not staying in the family. I had them refurbished, made new hardwood work tops for them and have them in a spare room

Thank you for the compliment.

Love that story. My mother wasn’t anything I would call a seamstress, but I have her old Singer. My father put it in a nice cabinet before he passed - I wanted to give the whole thing to my ex-wife’s Italian mother (who actually was a seamstress) but she passed before we had the chance.

Had a look at their website …
:man_facepalming:
You most definitely need to ditch the “bad switch mode power supply” and get a “good linear power supply” …
:skull_and_crossbones:
EDIT:
:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

No need for confession but since you did please say four Hail Marys, two Our Fathers and one Apostles’ Creed. Oh and a donation in the amount of the cost a high end power cord would also be most welcome

Are you bi amping left and right or low and high?

I used to bi amp but I used one amp for left low, left high, and one for right low, right high.

It’s as close as you can get to a mono block without being a true mono block.

The amp only cares about the impedance loads being matched, not the frequency’s it’s driving.

Vertical biamping, as you.

I have 6 linear power supply for each cable circuit… Hot Deal for stupid people… Anyway in this case as the electronics have little filters and it’s full analog not sure if that matters or not… For the price I got them I will buy them again today. :stuck_out_tongue:

Almost! :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

recently put the kenwood ka-2002 integrated amp back into my system
(after it was recently featured here in a hifi news vintage article)

compared to a lot of the gear shared here, this is hardly drool-worthy … but it sounds better than one might expect for an early '70s solid state amp … and it’s a fun thing to have around

(it pairs well with the equally cheap odroid-c4 + hifishield dac hat)

Thanks for sharing your wonderful system. We have the same turntable and if you would be so kind, I have a question or two. Did you upgrade the spindle? And was the SME tone arm an addition or stock when you bought it?
