· The Nucleus boots up and I can connect to it in the Roon app without issue, but I have a question about configuration/storage/attached devices
Describe the issue
Not Mission Critical But....
My IOS devices can see and select Nucleus connected via HDMI to Sony receiver and surround speakers (really awesome BTW). But while I can see Nucleus on Windows 11 app, it is not offered as an audio option. Uninstalled Roon and re-installed on Windows device. Would like that convenience. Also, while I have you, can you point me to where I can install the timer extension for setting up auto-play first thing in the morning on the Nucleus. Thanks
Because it (Windows 11) is a private zone. Make it a public one and the problem is solved.
EDIT: If you mean the Nucleus is not offered as an audio zone then this is likely while required network traffic is blocked. Please check and configure if necessary your Windows firewall:
Nothing that is offered from Roon Labs AFAIK, so asking about it in here in Support is the wrong place. Right place is Tinkering, there you can find:
Is your Nucleus your Roon server? It should be. I think you should see the Nucleus HDMI A and HDMI B or any devices connected to one or both of those. Maybe a reboot of everything will bring them up.
What devices/endpoints do you have attached to the Nucleus that you’re hoping to see and connect with from your windows remote?
I’d also triple-check that all your devices (endpoints included) are on the same local subnet within your local network. Let me know if any of the above helps!
